Dear all,

attached you will find a contract of the Agip Eni Group with the
Huaorani people in Ecuador for block 10 in the province of Pataza
from March 2001.

Strange is item 4.1 of this contract:

For the exploration work of block 10 - including the construction
of a drilling platform and an oil pipeline - Agip compromises itself
to improve the educational area - amoung other goods and services -
and to deliver

46 kg of rice
46 kg of sugar
two (2) buckets of butter and
one (1) bag of salt
in May, August and November 2001

as well as

two (2) footballs
one (1) whistle and
one (1) stopwatch
in August 2001

and

one (1) blackboard and
an Ecuadorian flag
in September 2001

and

fifteen (15) plates
fifteen (15) cups
fifteen (15) spoons
two (2) pots and
two (2) ladles
in May 2001
